Approach...

Personalized Approach

Husband & wife owner operators with a great team.  We treat each project as they are our own, as we know how important these projects are for you.   You have saved, planned, and dreamed for your project to become a reality.  Let us make that dream transform into life for you.

Unique Approach

We are VERY different than any other company we have ever met.  We understand the struggles and difficulties that building and remodeling create for people, so we do not make you endure all of this.  This is what we do every day!  We guide you through the process and set you up for success.

Not to mention,  life is so busy and hectic.  Many people do not have the time to shop for all of the components that they need to complete a renovation, nor do they know all of the things they need.   Most of our clients get so overwhelmed with putting all the pieces together on their own that they second guess themselves, and rightfully so! This not what you do every day.  This is not what you study, learn, and train about each and every day.  As a wise man told me, Stay Your Lane!  How true!  We are here to execute these projects, so you can do yours!

We begin our relationship with a discussion, usually over the phone and sometimes a field visit to review the basics of the project.  We provide a budgetary range for the project, and if you are comfortable with that range we move forward to a Preconstruction Design and Pricing agreement.

This Preconstruction Design and Pricing agreement allows everyone to have some skin in the game -- you are getting a shopping list of what your project will need to complete (materials and labor) and our team is getting the necessary compensated time to develop a cohesive design and job scope for your project.  This is a mutually beneficial relationship for both parties.  I have asked this question time and time again - How can someone accurately price out your job without knowing what you are going to select as your finishes?

It is very similar to food!  I want a steak.  Ok well do you want a Tomahawk Ribeye, a dry aged NY Strip, or a Salisbury Steak?  Do you want to add on a Lobster Tail? How about some sauteed mushrooms? Your selections here at the restaurant are going to dictate your price, your budget, just like they would when creating your scope of work for your home's project.

So I will ask this again -  How can someone accurately price out your job without knowing what you are going to select as your finishes? The answer is -- they can't.  They may try but the project is going to change price dramatically, you will receive a price for labor only and have to shop on your precious time, or you will be settling for things you do not really want based off of the allowances they have set for you.

Once we engage in our Preconstruction D&P, we begin the most important stage - the LISTENING with INTENTION stage. This stage is unbelievably important to ensuring that you are getting what you want.  After completing a measure of the area to be transformed, we have discussions where we are able to find out what you are looking for at the end of this project.

This is where we really shine because we are really good at listening and asking questions that give us insight to what is important to you.

We listen really hard to everything you say - good, bad, likes, dislikes, and all the in-between. It all counts, I promise!

We ask you to share pictures of things you like and then ask questions about your inspiration selections. Again it all counts, I swear!

We even talk about the tabooed topic of budget more in depth.  Everyone knows that renovations are going to cost money.  It costs money to purchase materials, mobilize trucks and team members to complete work, etc.  We have to be able to discuss the money part comfortably so we can make wise decisions with the budget.

As you can now see, all three of these are SO important and integral to one another to create a plan, or scope of work, that is what you always envisioned (if not even better!), is functional, and within a project budget that is realistic.

This Listening with Intention stage transitions to the next step where we put things together.  We take what you said and what you showed us and start creating a cohesive scope of work for your with budget in mind.  This means we are selecting options that are aesthetically what you are looking for, are budget conscious, and we can get within the timeline of project.  We are still working together as you will need to make decisions on options that are given, but we are working really hard in the background to strain down the options so it is not too overwhelming for you.  Once the decisions are finalized, a Look Book complete with your selections, sometimes a 3D rendering, and a real cost of what the scope will cost are provided for your review.  We discuss how we will move forward, the payment schedule for the created scope, and get her on the calendar!

As you can see, it takes a lot of effort and energy to put all of this together.  Hence, why we cannot give this service away for free.   Your project is worth that much energy and care! You are investing in your home and you should not have to redo this space again for a VERY LONG time.   You should be investing in the right team to plan and execute it for you to ensure you are getting the best possible project.

I know this is a bit long winded, but that is also to show you how much we do care and how much forethought goes into our projects to ensure their success and your happiness at the end.  You are not just selecting a contractor, you are investing in a team to make your dreams come true.  I haven't met another company out there that can say they think or operate like this.

Let us show you what we can build out of your wishes and dreams.
